Hedge Enterprises Inc. dba betU provides users with online sports and skills games, betting, social media and other interactive experiences. This Privacy Notice describes how betU (“our,” “we”) collects, uses, and shares personal information via its website at betu.com (the “Site”), our mobile applications (“Applications” or “Apps”), and other related services, including but not limited to our social networking and online discussion features (collectively, our “Services”).
This Notice does not apply to third parties, including those that may be linked from or support advertising accessible from or through our Services. Information we collect directly from you
- When you set up an account to use our Services (“Account”), we may ask you to provide your name, password, email, mailing address, phone number, gender, date of birth, and your Social Security number. We also collect additional data you may choose to provide as part of your Account, such as a personal description or profile picture.
- When you place bets, deposit or withdraw funds on our Services, we will collect all necessary information to complete and display those transactions including, but not limited to, name, email, mailing address, phone number, billing and payments information, paystubs, salary details, betU account balances and records of the transactions you conducted (including betU credits, debits, wins and losses). In addition, we may collect information related to your betting preferences and patterns, and other analytics about your betting activity and interactions with others on the Services.
- If you provide us feedback, request information, participate in surveys, or otherwise contact us through the Services, we may collect your name, email, and records and copies of the contents of the correspondence. This content may include any information you choose to voluntarily provide.
- We provide social networking features, including discussion boards, chat, messaging, the ability to challenge or propose a bet. If you choose to use our social features, we may collect, and other betU users may be able to see, some of your Account information (such as your username and profile picture), information about your participation in contests, wagers and betting
activity, public interactions with other betU users and other information you choose to publish or display on areas of the Site and Services that include private messaging with other betU users, group chat functions, live chat, and live interactions on active wagers (“User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted and transmitted to other betU users and may also be publicly available. You should exercise caution when sharing information with us or others in order to prevent disclosure of harmful or unlawful information. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to post, share, upload or otherwise provide when you use our social media and discussion board features. We cannot control the actions of other users on our social media and discussion board features with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. - You may choose to integrate your profiles on other social networking platforms with your betU Account. When you choose to do so, we may collect your username, profile picture, name, email address, and friends’ list from those platforms.
Information we collect through automatic data collection technologies
We may collect data regarding your use of our [App and] Site through cookies, web beacons, and other automatically collected information. This data may include your IP address, date and time you access our Site and the pages and content you access during your visit, websites that you link to or from, whether you receive or open an email or other communication from us, and the links you click on within those emails. We may also collect information from your mobile device or your computer about how you interact with our Site, including the date of the visit, the time of arrival and length of visit to the Site, the type of device used and the operating system on that device, browser type, a list of files downloaded or pages viewed, your IP address, and any errors encountered. This information helps us address customer support issues, provide you with a personalized experience, prevent fraudulent use of our services, and manage the Site we provide you, including gathering aggregated data about engagement.

security of networks and systems that we operate or that are operated on our behalf.
How We Share Information
We may share your information with third parties as reasonable to operate our business, to provide the Services to you and others, as permitted or required by law, or as directed or authorized by you.
Parties You Choose to Share Information With
When you use our Applications you can enable the sharing of certain content with other social networking services and platforms, or with other individuals or businesses. For example, when you use our friend invitation feature, your information is also shared with those friends. When you make a bet against someone, your information is shared with that person. When you choose to share or post information through our social networking features, your profile and message contents may become publicly available. If you direct us to transfer money to bank or other accounts, we may share information with that bank and other (e.g., facilitators, regulators) to complete the transaction.
Affiliated Companies
We may share some or all of your information with our parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us.
Third Party Sharing
We work with third party parties to help us provide our Services and support internal operations. They may use your information subject to their own privacy policies and to comply with their own legal and regulatory obligations. - Service providers to verify that your digital bank details are accurate, to support our KYC process, and to support the transfer of funds from our Services to your bank account;
